Google Font API in blogger

May 20th, 2010

Google made announcement about Font API in Google you can read from here Google Font . How to use Google font api is very easy.

Feature of this font is :

  • Support Ie 6
  • Host by Google ( big bandwidth and Cache in your browser)
  • Using @font-face
  • Will have many type of font

How to use in blogger is very easy this is one example I put in blogger :

I use the Font for h1, h3 and post-body class

    sayangnya koleksi font pada Google Font API tidak begitu banyak dan tidak begitu bagus. Saya rasa menggunakan layanan gratisan dari typekit adalah alternativ yang cukup baik.

      Karena ini masih baru mereka memang belum mempunyai banyak font, mereka akan terus mengembangkan lagi.
      Terpneting adalah ini hosted by Google

      TYPEKIT is not free
      very small for 25000 page view/month in free package.
      (the worse thing Typekit badge required)

        memang bisa dikatakan tidak gratis. tetapi sudah cukup jika digunakan sekedar untuk blog personal. Selain typekit mungkin layanan lainnya adalah kernest dan layanan beta dari fonts.com.
